From hooves to high octane, Warwick thrives on horsepower.

A centre of the region's sport and recreation, Morgan Park offers locals and visitors alike the opportunity to watch and participate in car racing, dirt biking, drag racing, polocrosse and eventing.

The Warwick Rodeo & Campdraft are Australia's most famous, with competitors travelling huge distances in October each year to participate. Similarly, the annual agricultural shows of Warwick, and the surrounding towns, offer showjumping, hacking, and other livestock events.

The jewel in Warwick's crown is the 'Horsepower: Warwick's Story of the Horse' sculpture designed by the late John Simpson.  Prominently displayed on the highway as you enter the city, the sculpture celebrates horses and their unique role in shaping Warwick.
